It was a great experience being in the final of 2009 Wildlife Artist of the year Competition. It was lovely to see my picture up on the wall of the prestigious Mall Galleries in London. It was great to meet like minded artists, and to chat with David Shepherd and various celebrities who turned up on the opening night.

On 1st march 2010 I was resident Artist for a week at www.nature-in-art.org.uk
 
This was a wonderful experience and would like to thank Simon Trapnell and everyone else at Wallsworth Hall for making me feel so welcome.

The response to my unique paintings was quite remarkable. I had never done a residency before, speaking to people about my artwork, and the feed back that I had was wonderful. Almost everybody were of the same opinion that they had never seen wildlife painted in such a way, and that it was lovely to see something different for a change.

I had many school parties come to visit, it was great to see the reaction from the children and teachers. The head mistress from one of the local schools was so impressed that she came back in the afternoon with a different class.
