The Grand Cayman Blue Iguana is critically endangered.
These magestic reptiles can only be found on the island of Grand Cayman and can have a lifespan
of up to 60yrs.
In 2002 the wild population was as low as 10 to
25 individuals, but with the massive help from conservationists the population have now grown
to about 120.
Threats include illegal capture, predation by wild dogs, feral cats and rats.
