Enamels with Gold and Copper Leaf on Glass

The Iberian Lynx are native to the Iberian Peninsula in southern Europe and are sometimes referred to as the Spanish Lynx.

Their head and body length is 85cm-110cm and have a short tail 12cm-30cm with a shoulder height of 60cm-70cm.

The Iberian Lynx are on the red critically endangered list and are the most endangered wild cat on earth. They are thought to be on the verge of extinction and would be the first wild cat to die out since pre-historic times. Many factors over the years have been to blame for their decline, including destruction of habitat, illegal poaching for it's fur and a massive decrease in the Rabbit population which is their main source of food.
